Avian or Farm Veterinarians
This list will be compiled via your testimonials of good quality veterinarians by State.
Please keep in mind that "vetting" your veterinarian is crucial.
I have seen and experienced less than desirable veterinarians - it is how I ultimately started my goose journey.
Some vets will indicate they have experience because they received their 15 minutes in school, when they have little and some will consider your beloved goose a farm animal.
As their patient, we deserve respect, care and immediate attention for our pet geese as is extended to traditional dogs and cats.

Dr Frank: North Central Animal Hospital
Certified Avian Vet
* This clinic also sees dogs and cats and has another veterinarian on site, however Dr Frank is the Certified Avian Vet and should be the only one requested/seen.
Dr Lamb: Arizona Exotics
Certified Avian Vet
*This practice has several locations in Arizona (Phoenix, Mesa and Tucson. There are several Certified Avian Vets within the practice and a few that have experience. All Dr's consult with the Certified Avian Vets. I have had only one "bad" experience and that Dr is no longer at the practice. Highly recommend.
Critical Care - call first to ensure someone has goose experience
*This is a chain of emergency clinics, but was referred to me by Arizona Exotics. I've got to the Camelback location twice, both with good experiences after calling to verify they had someone available with goose experience. If needed immediate assistance and unable to get into AZ Exotics, this is my second choice.
