Do you have resources (ie vet, animal schools, etc) to

Let's talk about the "dirty side" of goose ownership - illness, injuries and death. I live in an area with Certified Avian Vets and i do have a preference on who i go to. I have also sent a goose to be necropsied. As i seem to lose 2 geese every year - i'm trying to ensure that i know the reasons and learn from them if it's something i'm doing wrong or environmental. So far - every goose has died of a different reason. What are you experiences with this?

Question: If you sell goslings - do you vet your buyers and how? What questions do you ask?

I start out asking if they have had geese before or if they currently have geese- level set on experience.

Then i ask about the purpose of the goose, how they plan to protect it, property setup etc and base additional questions on answers provided. I also indicate that i am resource for them to ensure their goose does well. I do not sell individual geese or to people that don't have a predator plan in place.
